Atari Jaguar D-Pad Replacements
1. Introduction
These are custom d-pad replacement pieces to improve the tactility and responsiveness of the Jaguar 6-button and 3-button controller directional inputs. They are an absolute must!
2. Different Styles & Types
Pieces are available in 'thin' and 'thick' styles, both thumbstick and d-pad type in red or black.
Please review the information provided below to determine if you need a 'thin' or 'thick' style piece for your controller. There are two different kinds of 3-button controllers that require different style d-pad/thumbstick pieces. You will have to open your controller to verify what you have. 3. Thin Type
'Thin' style pieces are intended to replace the original d-pad of both Atari-branded and reproduction 6-button Jaguar controllers. They will also go in 3-button controllers that have a red plastic center post screwed into the top PCB inside. You must unscrew this center post to install the 'Thin' type piece in a 3-button controller.
4. Thick Type
'Thick' style pieces are intended for 3-button controllers that have a white plastic harness inside, they will not work in any other type of Jaguar controller.
