This is a press-fit 3D printed kit designed to replace the original conductive rubber membranes of the PS1 Konami Guitar Freaks controller. Instead of a mushy, squishy feeling pick and frets you get a snappy, positively actuating report that you can feel and you're much less likely to miss inputs. Installation is relatively simple but is a little more involved than other kits offered here, you'll need a little soldering know-how, a willingness to use a screwdriver and a wire stripper. You may need to secure brackets with a dot of hot glue but they are designed to seat snugly. Relevant screws and brand new microswitches are included with each kit. As this is a DIY alteration, it is the buyer's responsibility to know what they're doing! Note that there could be some dimensional variance in the injection molded parts of your controller that the 3D printed parts fit into. You may have to perform some filing or use a razor/sharp knife to widen holes of the 3D printed parts if things are too tight. These kits are designed to fit snugly as it's better to have excess material instead of 'not enough.'
